| Welcome to Technical Drawing Course Outline: Technical Drawing offers students the opportunity to learn the basic principles of drafting. Students will be introduced to some of the basic tools and theories in the vocation of drafting. Topics covered in this course include basic geometry and angles, both linear and inclined lines, circles and arcs, and tangents. Students will also learn about the multiple views of drawings, and oblique and isometric representations. The course has the option of being a full or half year course. The first half of the year, the students complete basic "paper and pencil" drawings. The second half of the year is spent in the CAD lab working on the computers.
